The tour starts in San Francisco de Paula, accompanied by a specialized guide. You will meet the Hemingway Museum, home that housed writer and journalist Ernest Hemingway for two decades.
This place known as Finca Vigía, was where the writer wrote many of his works, including: "The Old Man and the Sea" and much of the work "For whom the bell tolls" and "Islands in the Gulf". Shortly thereafter, and for his narrative work, he won the Novel Prize. (This place allows the entrance of camera and video).
We will continue our journey to the town of Cojímar, the fishing village where Hemingway celebrated his Pulitzer Prize in 1953, with his friends and Gregory, his boat captain, who was his inspiration for his novel "The Old Man and the Sea".
Before finishing our tour, we will visit in passing the Bodeguita del Medio, the restaurant famous for being the cradle of the authentic mojito and Floridita, a bar and restaurant also world famous thanks to the writer who used to visit them regularly to shape their stories accompanied of his favorite drink the Daiquiri.
We will have a delicious lunch.
